Want to learn more about Vajrayana deity practices in a beautiful retreat setting? Join Tromge Jigme Rinpoche for three days of teachings and practices as he reviews ngondro — the ‘preliminary practices’ that are foundational to Vajrayana Buddhism — and how to approach deity meditation as taught in Tibetan Buddhism.
The retreat will include teachings, practice time and the opportunity to ask questions. No prior experience is required, only a sincere interest in Tibetan Buddhism.
The Guru Rinpoche, Vajrasattva and Amitabha empowerments that are required to formally undertake ngondro accumulations will be offered on the 18th of July in the morning. Attending the empowerments requires a separate registration and the empowerments will not be livestreamed.

Financial Assistance and Work-Study
No one will be turned away for lack of funds. PPI / Ati Ling has long been committed to making its events as accessible as possible to all. Online participation and our in-person events are priced very low, and charges are essentially to cover room and board. We try to work with what people can afford, trusting that people understand the importance of making whatever offering they can afford when they benefit from learning and practicing the precious dharma. Scholarships may be available for people in receipt of SSI or with other valid needs for requesting financial assistance. To request financial assistance please email us at events@atiling.org.
Offerings
Whether or not you are able to participate in this event, it is possible to make an offering for the tsog or butterlamps, with prayers that auspicious conditions prevail for the flourishing of this practice and for the benefit of all beings. Butterlamps are $1.50 each; tsog offerings can be in any amount. There are two ways to make offerings:
