As the Tibetan New Year (Losar) approaches this Thursday, March 3rd, Tromge Jigme Rinpoche and the sangha of PPI – Ati Ling wish you a happy new year.
The PPI – Ati Ling sangha will offer tsog for Losar on Thursday March 3rd at 6:00am. Tromge Jigme Rinpoche is in India celebrating Losar with his mother, the first time he has been able to visit her in the last few years, and sends his best wishes to the sangha.
When so much suffering, violence and environmental upheaval manifests in the world, on many levels, may we remember to rely on our inner refuge as well as our sangha and other communities, and extend whatever love, compassion and practical support we can, mindful of our commitment to bring benefit where possible.
Everyone is welcome to join for the Shower of Blessings Guru Rinpoche tsog at 6am in the morning, California time. Those without the text can simply use an image of Guru Rinpoche or Tara as a basis for one-pointed meditation, dedicating the merit for the temporary and ultimate happiness and enlightenment of all beings.

The first fifteen days of the lunar Tibetan New Year are considered an especially potent and auspicious time to generate merit, whether through prayers or making offerings. Practitioners are encouraged to recite texts and make aspiration prayers for the coming year. All dedications received will be read in the New Year puja in the morning or evening.
