Lion-faced Dakini Retreat

Lion-faced Dakini Retreat

Friday September 1st – Monday September 4th (Labor Day), 2017

Join us for this four-day retreat at Yeshe Ling with Jigme Tromge Rinpoche

Retreat will begin at Yeshe Ling 4:00pm Friday and finish around 5:00pm Monday afternoon. The greatest benefit comes from attending the whole retreat without coming and going, allowing the mind to settle. However if you cannot do this, arrangements can be made for partial attendance. Empowerment for this particular Lion Faced Dakini practice is required, and will be offered on Friday. If anyone who needs empowerment cannot come on Friday, the empowerment could possibly be given on Saturday morning.

This is a profound practice for dispelling obstacles and swiftly accomplishing the realization of intrinsic awareness, composed by His Holiness Dudjom Rinpoche from a treasure of his previous incarnation, Dudjom Lingpa. Jigme Rinpoche received this practice directly from H.H. Dudjom Rinpoche, so the lineage is very short and powerful.

In the intimate, isolated environment of this retreat, Rinpoche’s teachings are profound, yet direct, going right to the heart of practice. There is an ideal opportunity to absorb the teachings so that understanding can ripen. Without distraction and with time to settle into the practice, it’s meaning unfolds. This is a precious opportunity for practitioners of all levels.

Times: Friday afternoon at 4pm until Monday evening 5pm.

Yeshe Ling is a secluded retreat place in the hills north of San Francisco, with a simplicity and natural environment that enhances meditation. Both Chagdud Rinpoche and Jigme Rinpoche have given many teachings here, and the blessings are strong on this land. We hope you can join us for this opportunity to be in a hidden place with an authentic master of the realization lineage.
