Ati Ling & CGF
Ati Ling was established in 1987 as the Bay Area branch of the Chagdud Gonpa Foundation, a Tibetan Vajrayana Buddhist center in the Nyingma tradition. In 1992, after completing the traditional three-year retreat, Jigme Tromge Rinpoche was appointed resident lama of Ati Ling.

JIGME TROMGE RINPOCHE is the resident teacher of Ati Ling. The son of the late master His Eminence Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche, at a young age Jigme Rinpoche was recognized by H.E. Chokling Rinpoche as his previous life’s son Tsewang Norbu.
H.E. Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche
H.E. Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche (1930-2002) belonged to the last generation of teachers to have been fully trained in Tibet in the vast wealth of Vajrayana Buddhist teachings and methods. He held superb teaching lineages, primarily in the Nyingma tradition of Tibetan Vajrayana Buddhism.
